Event Overview

Brief outline of InSIGHT

InSIGHT is our premier live musical show of the year, showcasing exceptional talent and creativity as we prepare for the next chapter in our musical journey. This highly anticipated event is a cornerstone of our annual calendar, spotlighting a diverse array of spectacular live acts, offering a platform for emerging talents of InSIM to showcase their artistic and production skills..

 

Please note that registration to become a committee member for this event is available for a limited time only. If you are passionate about music, performance, and production, this is your chance to shine and be part of an unforgettable experience!

Note:

Attendance for all events is compulsory for all applicants.

The absence of any of the event processes may adversely affect the assessment

and decision-making process.

Before applying for your first-choice and/or second-choice roles, please read through the job descriptions of each department of InSIGHT 2026!
Job Descriptions
Cast & Singers (CNS)

For those who likes to act, dance, and sing on stage, passionate in performing and bringing characters to life

MakeUp & Wardrobe (MAW)

Responsible for the planning and designing of the performers' style from head to toe on stage matters

Design & Publication (DNP)

Responsible for the planning and executions of publication and marketing collaterals, and the documentation of the event

Dancers & Supporting Casts

For those who are passionate about dancing and acting, and eager to share the stage with other talented performers to fully express the artistry and creativity of live musical performance

Commerce & Ticketing (COMTIX)

Responsible for raising funds through a range of fundraising initiatives, ticket sales, and merchandise sales to thoroughly finance and support every aspect of the entire event

Musicians

For those who loves composing original songs and playing live in a semi-orchestra band, and eager to express passion through the joy of musical creativity

Sets, Props, &
Logistics (SPL)

Responsible for the planning, designing, and executing of the event setting, properties, and logistics, while also serving as the blackmen on stage during the performance

Notes: ​

  1. All interviews and auditions will be conducted offline at SIM HQ and each will last for 30 minutes at maximum.           

  2. All registrants must be present outside of the interview venues at least 5 minutes before the interview starts

  3. After the submission, please keep a look at your SIM MyMail to find your allocated interview schedule and venue

  4. The slots are on a first come first served basis and may take some time to be updated in real time. If your preferred time slots are fully occupied, you will be offered another slot and still eligible for 1 (ONE) reschedule

  5. In the event that you wish to reschedule to a different time and/or date, please follow the procedures:  

  • Reply to the email as soon as possible by stating 1 (ONE) of your preferred amended dates and time ranges, e.g. “I preferred Monday, 25th September 2025 from 12 pm - 3 pm", give us the interval!

  • Wait for the rescheduled interview date and time

    • ​Do note that the rescheduling is not guaranteed to be successful.

    • If your preferred time slots are fully occupied, you will have to choose between your original slot and the rescheduled slot

    • Rescheduling is only permitted within 24 hours before the original interview slot.

    • Rescheduling will only happen 1x  (once).
